Prime Minister of Saxony demanded explanations from Burbock for words about war with Russia

Saxon Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer demanded an explanation from German Foreign Minister Annalen Berbock after saying that Germany was at war with Russia.

“The Minister of Foreign Affairs is our chief diplomat. She must carefully consider her words. In an acute situation, we cannot afford ambiguous statements”Kretschmer said.

The prime minister demanded an explanation from the minister. In addition, he criticized the government’s decision to transfer Leopard tanks to Ukraine. According to Kretschmer, the conflict must be resolved diplomatically.

Earlier, the leader of the Alternative for Germany party demanded that Burbock be fired.

Recall that on January 24, Burbock said at a PACE meeting that European countries “together are waging war against Russia.” This, according to the minister, is the “decisive” and “most important” thing.

It should be noted that the German Foreign Ministry immediately denied the words of their boss, saying that Germany, supporting Ukraine, is not a party to the conflict, and Burbock, in fact, allegedly tried to convince Europe to avoid a war with Russia.

Croatian President Zoran Milonovic also criticized. He stated that his country is not at war with the Russian Federation, and veiledly reminded Germany of the loss in World War II.
