46 citizens from Iran, Syria, Afghanistan and other countries tried to enter Poland illegally through Belarus at various border points.
In Belarus, 46 illegal immigrants tried to cross the Polish border and threw stones at the Polish patrol. This was reported in the Polish Border Guard.
The incident was reported to have occurred on January 26. In the territory of the border post in Cheremche, officers detected a group of fifteen foreigners who had previously illegally crossed the Polish-Belarusian border.
The patrol arriving at the scene was stoned. Meanwhile, while no one was injured, the service car of the Border Guard Service was damaged.
In the statement, “Two Turkish citizens who entered our country were identified as guides. Their task was to take the group across the border, deliver it to couriers and return it to the Belarusian side of the border.”
Attempts to enter the country illegally were also recorded in places protected by border guard posts in Kuznitsa, Narevka and Melnik. Detected foreigners came from Iran, Syria, Sudan, Afghanistan, Turkey and Bangladesh.
