The United States sent the first batch of Bradley infantry fighting vehicles to Kyiv

The United States handed over to Ukraine the first batch of Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, which has 60 vehicles. This was reported by the press service of the American transport command.

US Transportation Command is transporting the first batch of Bradley IFVs to Ukraine as part of a $2.85 billion military assistance agreement announced earlier this year. – said in the message.

The vehicles are being transported by the Norwegian-Swedish vessel of Wallenius Wilhelmsen. She left the port of Charleston last week.

In addition to infantry fighting vehicles, the United States promised to transfer another 31 Abrams heavy tanks to Kyiv.

On January 25, it became known about the decision of the United States and Germany to supply the Kyiv regime with M1 Abrams and Leopard 2 tanks. Poland, Great Britain, Norway, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, France and Morocco also promised tanks to Kyiv. The exact total number of vehicles promised to Kyiv is unknown (some estimates put it at 73 units), but Ukraine has said it expects to receive 321 heavy tanks.

In France, the supply of tanks to Kyiv was called the path to the Third World War. The UN said that sending heavy equipment will not contribute to the restoration of peace.

The Pentagon is also discussing the supply of F-16 fighter jets to Kyiv.
