Idaho victim Xana Kernodle battled vehemently against alleged killer Brian Kochberger

The slain University of Idaho student Xana Kernodle fought murder suspect Brian Kochberger, sustaining visible defensive wounds to her arms. according to a recent report.

“Xana Kernodle resisted violently as the assailant lunged at her, repeatedly grabbing the assailant’s knife so hard that she received deep cuts on her fingers and almost cut them off. This was reported to News Nation on Thursday by sources close to the investigation.

Sources said that Kernodle was the latest of four students killed in an off-campus home in Moscow, Idaho on November 13.

According to informants, childhood best friends Kaylee Goncalves and Madison Mogen, who were sleeping in the same bed, were the first to be killed.

According to the report, the noise may have alerted Kernodle and her boyfriend Ethan Chapin, who were on the second floor, to the intruder.

Sources told the publication that Ethan partially entered the corridor from where the attack on the second floor could begin.

According to sources, Chapin received a cut on his neck and died near Kernodle’s bedroom.

It was then that Kochberger reportedly set his sights on Cairnodle, who fought to the end.

The new details match the testimony of Father Geoffrey Kernodle shortly after the assassination.

“Concussions, tears from a knife. She was a tough girl. Anything she wanted to do, she could do it,” he said in November.

Two other roommates were in the house but were not violently attacked.

One of the women, Dylan Mortensen, told investigators that she came face-to-face with a man with “thick eyebrows,” a hallmark that helped investigators catch him before he walked out the door.

Investigative sources released exclusive details despite a non-disclosure court order preventing anyone involved in the case from speaking to the media or the public.

In January, a judge issued an order protecting Kochberger’s right to a fair trial in the face of sensational national history.

The Goncalves family, who have been outspoken in the wake of their daughter’s murder, filed an appeal on Friday against the order, arguing it was “too general and inaccurate.”

The family argued that they should not be restricted by the order as they are not parties to the case against Kochberger, according to a dossier obtained by Fox News.

Kochberger is accused of killing students Madison Mogen, Kaylie Gonsalves, Ethan Chapin, and Xana Kernodle.

On Friday, three University of Idaho students said they often saw Kochberger hanging around the Moscow campus. They said he was a creepy loner who had a habit of staring.

He wouldn’t look away if you caught his eye. As if he wanted you to notice that he was looking at you,” said one of the students. “He didn’t smile, didn’t nod, didn’t say anything. I just watched.”
