Rescuers EMERCOM of Russia arrived in Turkey. There they will help to eliminate the consequences of a powerful earthquake.

Three planes of the Ministry of Emergency Situations landed at the airport of Adana.

The Russian group includes seven canine crews and more than 100 rescue workers in the area of ​​catastrophic destruction.

In addition, an airmobile hospital will be delivered to the emergency zone for prompt assistance to the victims, on the basis of which more than 40 specialists from the Russian Emergencies Ministry will provide qualified medical care.

Earlier it was reported that Russian rescuers flew to Turkey and Syria, affected by the devastating earthquake.

The earthquake in Turkey, which became the largest destruction for the country in the last 80 years, occurred on the night of February 6. The epicenter of the shocks was located 26 km from the city of Gaziantep.

The earthquake and aftershocks were felt in a number of countries in the Middle East, Europe and Central Asia. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called this earthquake the most powerful natural disaster for the country since 1939.
