Traffic police officers in the Krasnodar Territory were caught with petty bribes and planned to bribe the inspector with a large amount so that the case does not go to court.
In the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation, a traffic inspector offered a bribe to an employee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation to avoid criminal liability for another bribe. On Monday, February 13, the portal 93.RU refers to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
According to journalists, two traffic policemen from Timashevsk, Krasnodar Territory were suspected of paying petty bribes, after which one of them offered a bribe to the representative of the Investigative Committee in the amount of 600 thousand rubles (about 300 thousand UAH). To avoid liability, however, the security forces detained the law enforcement officer while transferring money.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the head of the road inspection office in the region was offered to act as an intermediary in the transfer of bribes. The lieutenant colonel offered his subordinates 2 million rubles (about 1 million UAH) to dodge responsibility.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs assures that if this information is confirmed, traffic cops will be fired and face criminal sanctions, and their leadership will be brought to disciplinary responsibility. On February 9, journalists contacted detainee Zinchenko, but he declined to comment, saying he was “offended to talk about himself”.
Recall that recently two drunken men in the Moscow region reported to the local police that they had found a Ukrainian “saboteur”, but law enforcement officers instead arrested the drunk applicants.
And on February 7, a Chita court fined a man a second time for “discrediting” the Armed Forces after retelling a dream with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
