Russian soldier who took part in Putin’s New Year speech died at the front in Ukraine

Starley Yuri Schneider, 26, died a month after the President of the Russian Federation awarded her the Order of Courage. His friend assures him that he covered the grenade with his body.

During the war in Ukraine, 26-year-old Russian Federation Air Force Senior Lieutenant Yuri Schneider (call sign “Krug”) died, filmed in Vladimir Putin’s New Year’s video message. This was reported by the online edition of ChTD on Thursday, February 16.

Schneider graduated from the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Ryazan Air School.

An acquaintance of the Russian told reporters of the project that “we can explain” that he died by closing a grenade with his body in order to “save his colleagues”.

As noted, the army was liquidated literally a month after the President of the Russian Federation awarded him the Order of Courage “for the defense” of the occupied Ukrainian village.

Ren TV’s article about the award states, “Thanks to Schneider’s actions, the enemy attack aircraft, two mortar divisions and one vehicle were destroyed. As a result, the enemy was forced to retreat.”

Schneider took part in Putin’s New Year’s speech last year.

Regarding this incident, the soldier himself said, “The support of the Commander-in-Chief is very pleasing to me and raises morale.”

On February 6, another soldier, Grigory Mityuev, wrote about Schneider’s death on social networks. He mentioned Schneider’s call sign, “Circle”, listing the names of the deceased Russians.

The fact of the death of a senior lieutenant became known to the public thanks to a military analyst who wrote on Twitter under the pseudonym Necro Mancer. He saw Mityuev’s post listing the call signs of the Russian army and defined Among them is Schneider.

“Senior Lieutenant Yury Viktorovich Schneider, a graduate of the RVVDKU, born in 1996, nicknamed” Circle “from the Bolshemurtinsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, received a badge from the hand of the Führer, but this did not bring him much luck.” He said on February 15.

Recall that on February 9, intelligence officers of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense neutralized two groups of Russian invaders in the direction of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, where fierce fighting is currently underway. An important role in the operation was played by a peasant dog, who barked at the Russians, delaying them for a moment. Ukrainian defenders took advantage of this and successfully hit the enemy cluster.
