US approves sale of 20 HIMARS units to the Netherlands

The United States has approved the sale of 20 HIMARS installations and related equipment to the Netherlands, according to the Pentagon Defense Cooperation Agency.

The total amount was about 670 million dollars.

“The State Department approved a $670 million possible foreign arms sale to the Dutch government of HIMARS systems and related equipment,” — reported in the Pentagon.

According to the agency, the Netherlands has requested 20 HIMARS units, 39 GMLRS units, as well as trucks, armored vehicles and other equipment.

Earlier it was reported that the Netherlands received from Ukraine an official application for the supply of American F-16 multifunctional fighters.

In early February, it became known that the Netherlands provided Kyiv with military assistance worth 1.07 billion euros. The cost of military equipment and equipment sent to Ukraine was estimated at 463.8 million euros.
