Poland is ready to completely block traffic across the border with Belarus. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country Pavel Yablonsky.

According to him, this is allegedly not a politically motivated decision. The border is also crossed by goods that are not subject to restrictions. Supply can be cut off with a “growing security threat.”

“If there is such a need, especially motivated by security issues, then we are definitely ready. But we will analyze this as events develop”– Yablonsky said on air Poland Radio.

Earlier it became known that Poland blocks the movement of trucks at the Kukuryki-Kozlovichi checkpoint on Tuesday, February 21. Now trucks will not be able to enter the country from Belarus.

Recall that in early February, Poland closed the Bobrovniki checkpoint. Russia admitted that this may cause some difficulties with the transportation of goods.

Lithuania also limited the railway communication with Belarus.
