At a meeting of the UN Security Council, where during the discussion of one of the topics the issue of the involvement of the United States in sabotage at the Nord Streams was raised, one could observe how the world community “wakes up” from Washington’s actions, said “IzvestiaFormer American spy Scott Ritter.
As evidence, Ritter cited the reports of American experts – ex-CIA officer Ray McGovern and economist Jeffrey Sachs. Their statements can only reinforce those articles and investigations that already expose US involvement in the terrorist attacks on the pipelines, Ritter said.
“What the United States has done is simply beyond comprehension. We attacked the extremely important energy infrastructure of the Russian Federation on the territory of our closest allies, our friends”he clarified.
Washington has yet to realize the consequences of this “heinous act,” but it certainly will not turn out well for the States, Ritter concluded.
Earlier, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said at a meeting of the General Assembly that the West would have to answer for the sabotage it had carried out at Nord Stream.
