The UK has expanded the list of sanctions against Russia by adding 92 Russian individuals and legal entities to it. This was reported in a statement by the press service of the British government, distributed on February 24.

“UK Sanctions Against Russia Surpass 1,500 (Persons) As UK Foreign Office Targets 92 Individuals And Entities, Including Those Linked To Rosatom”– stated in the statement.

In addition to Rosatom, the British restrictions affected Aeroflot, Rosatom, Rostec, Almaz-Antey and four banks: St. Petersburg, Uralsib, MTS Bank, Zenit.

Earlier it was reported that anti-Russian sanctions drove some European countries to a standstill – by accepting restrictions on Russian oil, some Western firms faced serious problems.
