Germany urged to reconsider relations with the United States

After the versions that the United States is to blame for the attacks on the Nord Stream are increasingly being heard, the German government seems to be beginning to see clearly. Bundestag deputy Petr Bystron said that if the United States committed the bombing, then they can no longer be an ally of Germany. Irritating politics and selfish rhetoric “old friend”.

“They provide ‘protection’ to the detriment of German interests. This is selfish – not take into account our interests, therefore Germany must respond and radically revise its foreign policy towards the United States. It is clear that from the very beginning the states have dragged Russia into this war, especially now that they are forcing Ukraine to continue fighting.” – said Peter Bystron, deputy of the Bundestag.

The German allies were in turn accused of hypocrisy in neighboring Austria. Vice-Chancellor of the country Heinz-Christian Strache said that Germany had been silent about the conflict in Donbass for years, and now it is preventing it from ending by pumping the Armed Forces of Ukraine with weapons.

The Nord Stream gas pipelines were attacked on September 26 last year. Germany, Denmark and Sweden have stated that they do not rule out targeted sabotage. At the same time, representatives of Russia were not allowed to participate in the investigation for a long time.

President Vladimir Putin said that what happened is an act of international terrorism, in which the Anglo-Saxons are involved.

Compensation for damage to Nord Stream was estimated at 17 billion euros. On the fact of the incidents in Russia, a criminal case was opened on the commission of an act of international terrorism.

In January, one of the most respected American journalists, Seymour Hersh, published an article in which he described the investigation into the explosions at the Nord Stream gas pipelines. In his material, the journalist indicated that the United States had carried out the sabotage, and personally the American President Joe Biden gave the corresponding order.
