Mexican President Andres Manuel López Obrador rebuked the US State Department for interfering in the country’s internal affairs. The Mexican leader noted that the United States actually supported the protests of the Mexican opposition against the electoral reform initiated by the authorities.

“I will take this opportunity to respond to the US State Department, which, as if out of bad habit, always interferes in matters that do not concern it, which is very contrary to what President Biden thinks, who always talks about equality,” – noticed Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.

The Mexican leader remarked that the States had not yet abandoned the policy of more than two centuries ago and still consider themselves the government of the world. López Obrador believes that there is now more democracy in Mexico than in the United States. The President of Mexico advised the United States, instead of interfering in the politics of other countries, to deal with what is happening in the country, as well as the incident in Peru, where the American ambassador became an adviser to the participants in the coup d’etat, who “trampled democracy and freedoms in the country”, removed the president from office and sent him into custody.
