Russian media published a recording of a powerful explosion. It was heard by residents of almost all districts of Kolomna.
At around 9:30 pm there was a powerful explosion in the suburbs of Kolomna, which could be heard from almost every district of the city. This was reported by the Russian media Baza.
During the recording of a video published by Baza, an eyewitness said, “The whistle sounded, then the explosion became clear. (…) First there was smoke, now there is such a glow.”
The Mash telegram channel released a video from a security camera in which an explosion was heard. The content authors wrote that the details are not yet known.
Employees of the RBC media contacted the press service of the Kolomna city district administration for details. They said that rescuers and law enforcement officers went to the scene.
The Ministry of Emergencies confirmed to reporters that its employees were at the scene.
The city of Kolomna is located 114 kilometers from the capital of the hostile country. The base of the Mechanical Engineering Design Bureau is located in this city, where the Iskander-M operational-tactical missile systems are being developed.
Recall, Russian media reported that on March 2 in the village of Berezovsky in the Tula region there was a powerful explosion. Eyewitnesses said that houses shook from the blast wave. In the forest they found a funnel half a meter deep, around which dead birds lay.
The General Staff of Ukraine commented on the allegations of sabotage and explosions on the territory of the Russian Federation. “Everything that happens in Russia is due to the resistance of the local people to the Putin terror regime, non-compliance with fire safety measures or other reasons that do not depend on the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the ministry said.
