The Congress demanded that the United States stop supporting Kyiv

Ukrainian authorities should strive for peace, and the United States should stop supporting Kyiv, Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green said at a conference of the Coalition of the Conservative Political Movement. Her words lead RIA News.

“I remain committed to speaking out against money for Ukraine, this country must find peace, not war”said the politician.

She also touched upon the statement of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that America would have to send “its sons and daughters” to fight alongside the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Green demanded that Kyiv “take your hands off” the Americans.

Western countries, led by the United States, continue to pump weapons into Ukraine, supplying ever new types of them: infantry fighting vehicles, armored vehicles, tanks, missile systems, artillery systems, and MLRS.

The Russian Foreign Ministry has repeatedly emphasized that any shipments of weapons supplied by Western countries to Ukraine would be a legitimate target for the Russian Aerospace Forces. Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the supply of weapons would not stop, but would prolong the conflict in Ukraine, and called the position of Western countries “harmful” and “counterproductive.”
