Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic was not allowed to compete in the United States due to the lack of vaccination against coronavirus. This was announced by US Senator Rick Scott on his Twitter page.

The US senator called for the adoption of a law in the United States that would abolish mandatory vaccination for foreigners coming to the United States.

“We need to pass a law to fix this now. It’s time to cancel the vaccination mandate for people who come from other countries” written by Rick Scott.

Recall that in 2022, Djokovic was also not allowed into the United States at the US Open due to the lack of vaccination against coronavirus. The Serb was denied entry in accordance with the rules of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

In January 2022, they even decided to deport Djokovic from Australia and ban him from entering the country for three years due to the coronavirus vaccine medical exemption scandal. As a result, the tennis player was nevertheless given a visa and allowed into Australia to participate in the Australian Open.
