The strike of Parisian garbage workers has led to the fact that mountains of waste have accumulated on the streets of the French capital. The total mass of uncollected garbage is about two tons. This was told by the correspondent of RIA Novosti.

Recall that on March 7, the largest nationwide strike in the last 30 years began in France. Thus, citizens express their dissatisfaction with the decision of the authorities to raise the retirement age – from 62 to 64 years. In total, about 260 such actions take place in the country, and from 1.1 to 1.4 million people take part in them.

It should be noted that not all protests are peaceful. In some cities, such as Rennes, Nantes and Lyon, law enforcement officers use tear gas on demonstrators. Somewhere even schoolchildren fall under the hot hand of the police.

However, the protesters do not tolerate and resolutely respond to the actions of the gendarmes, setting fire to garbage cans and launching fireworks.
