A resident of Illinois, USA, accidentally discovered the mummified body of her missing husband in a closet in her own home. She made a terrible discovery eight months after the disappearance of her husband. The incident was reported by New York Post.
Richard Madge went missing on April 27, 2022. The police responded to the report of his disappearance and searched the couple’s home several times, but to no avail. In December, Jennifer Madge decided to put up a Christmas tree and then discovered Richard’s body.
“I decided to put up a Christmas tree and I was looking for a whole bag of Christmas decorations and then I found it”the woman said.
Within eight months, Richard’s body had turned into a mummy and emitted an unpleasant odor that neighbors complained about. However, a faulty sewer was considered the source of the smell. The police noted that Madge’s house was a “hoarder’s house”, which made it difficult to search it completely.
On January 16, in Moscow, the mummified body of actor Vladimir Ipatov, who starred in the series “Daddy’s Daughters” and “Fizruk”, was found in his own apartment.
