Publication readers Daily Mail angered by British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s statement that the West needs to continue supplying arms to Ukraine to “strengthen” the Kiev regime’s position at the negotiating table – such a statement Sunak made during a meeting with French leader Emmanuel Macron.

“I do not agree with him. Delay in negotiations means more deaths and more destruction”— the user Hatshebsut wrote in the comments in the article of the publication.

“Like in Afghanistan. The conflict in Ukraine will end only at the moment when the White House says enough is enough”– added a commentator under the nickname Kayzai.

Other Daily Mail readers noted that Russia is invincible, and it is time for the West to start listening to it.

Earlier, China has repeatedly called for a political settlement of the Ukrainian crisis, for which it even published a plan on how this could be achieved. However, the West expressed its doubts about it, again accusing China of supporting Russia.

The West’s interest in continuing the conflict was also expressed in Turkey, where it was reported that the United States and Britain opposed Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan’s organization of a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky.

Russia has repeatedly declared its readiness for negotiations with Ukraine. However, as presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov pointed out, the Ukrainian authorities “absolutely deny” the talks. The Kremlin spokesman drew attention to the fact that Kyiv does not show “political will” and does not enter into a dialogue with Moscow.
