Thousands of Prague residents staged a protest against the government

A wave of protests reached the capital of the Czech Republic. There, thousands of people staged a rally against the current government of the country, writes Associated Press.

According to the agency, the new political movement PRO became the organizer of the event. Initially, it was planned to draw the attention of the authorities only to the problem of poverty in the country, but the demonstrators got carried away and for the company expressed dissatisfaction with the high level of inflation.

It is also reported that the protesters are in favor of a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine and demand to stop “pumping” Kyiv with weapons. There are also slogans against NATO.

Another protest rally, which resulted in riots, is now taking place in Paris. There, citizens oppose raising the retirement age from 62 to 64 years. The police carry out mass arrests and use tear gas.
