“Patriot nature”: “pioneer” badges will be returned to Russian schools, following the example of the USSR (photo)

According to Yana Lantratovskaya, the first deputy chairman of the education committee of the Russian State Duma, the new element of the uniform should be the embodiment of students “high moral principles, as in the Soviet Union.”

The Ministry of Education of Russia supported the concept of introducing school badges as an element of student uniform. On Monday, March 13, the Russian agency “TASS” reported.

According to the Russian Mass Media, the design of the badges has not yet been developed, it will be done by the youth organization “Movement of the First”, an analogue of the Soviet pioneers.

It is also reported that Yana Lantratova, the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Education Committee, had previously approached the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation, Sergei Kravtsov, with a proposal to bring school badges. According to him, they should be “the pride of the younger generation, an attribute of patriotism, high moral principles, as in the Soviet Union.”

New Russian “pioneers” – “First Movement”

On 19 December 2022, the Russian TASS agency reported that the participants of the Russian Children and Youth Movement congress chose the name of their organization as the First Movement by a majority of votes.

Five names were put to vote:

  • “Pioneers”;
  • “Movement of the first”;
  • “The movement named after Gagarin”;
  • “New generation”;
  • “Youth”.

Moreover, this was already the third vote, since the results of the previous ones were canceled due to the disagreement of the delegates.

Recall that on March 6, children in the Oryol region of the Russian Federation were forced to sew soft toys in the form of cheburashkas with the letter Z, which were called the “symbol” of the war against Ukraine. The crafts are intended to be sent to the front of the Russian army as a “talisman”.

Earlier, on February 6, local media reported that in the city of Nolinsk in the Kirov region of the Russian Federation, children beat a 9-year-old boy because of a blue-yellow cheesecake while he was going down an ice slide.
