Scouts of the Western Military District discovered enemy armored vehicles in the shelter, after which the crew of the T-72B3 tank struck at it from a 2A-46M5 cannon launcher of 125 mm caliber, reports RIA News.
The commander of a tank company with the call sign Success said that first, aerial reconnaissance identifies targets that “worry” the infantry the most, after which these targets are destroyed.
“We leave, work out the entire full BC (combat kit – ed. note), so that everything goes right on target in order to inflict maximum defeat on the enemy,” the commander said.
According to him, in good weather, the crew can travel three times a day, destroying up to five targets in one trip.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense shared footage of the combat work of the Msta-B howitzer crews of the Airborne Forces. The military destroyed the infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who had taken refuge in dugouts.
In the process of performing a combat mission, howitzer crews used high-explosive, high-explosive fragmentation, as well as precision-guided munitions, which made it possible to inflict maximum damage on concrete fortifications and armored vehicles of Ukrainian nationalists.
