NYT: Zuckerberg decides to lay off ten thousand more employees at Meta*

The American corporation Meta * will soon lay off ten thousand employees, or about 13% of the state, the newspaper reported. The New York Times with reference to the company.

Layoffs will affect employees of recruiting, technical and business divisions. The cuts will begin this week and continue through the spring.

“It will be hard, but there is no other way” Zuckerberg emphasized.

In addition, the corporation intends to slow down the pace of hiring new employees, it is planned to remove about five thousand vacancies from the publication.

Over the past six months, the company has already carried out the second wave of cuts. Last time, 11,000 people were laid off.
