The security forces of the Mexican state of Mexico City have detained two young people, one of whom is 14 years old, – they are accused of killing eight people during a family holiday in the municipality of Chimalhuacan. This is reported in a statement on the Mexican police website.
The attack on a family holiday happened in January. Eight people died as a result of the crime, seven more, including children aged 3 and 14, were injured.
“Two youths were arrested for the murder of eight people in the state of Mexico,” – follows from the statement of law enforcement officers from Mexico.
It is reported that the killers, among whom was a 14-year-old teenager, on January 22 drove up on motorcycles to the place of a family holiday in the municipality of Chimalhuacan, and then fired at people. Three people died on the spot, five more died in medical facilities.
As part of the operation, which took place at the end of last month, in addition to the direct killers, seven more people were detained, including the leader of a local gang.
