The Ministry of Transport of Russia consults with Turkey on the issue of fuel supply for Russian aircraft, but there are no problems with ground handling at Turkish airports, flights are operated as normal. About it reported RIA Novosti in the press service of the Ministry of Transport of Russia.
“Flights of Russian airlines to the Republic of Turkey are operated as usual. The Ministry of Transport of Russia is holding consultations with the Turkish side on certain issues of fuel supply for Russian aircraft. There are no problems with ground handling at Turkish airports for Russian airlines,” – said the department.
Recall that on March 16, the Kommersant newspaper, referring to the Turkish edition of AirportHaber, reported that the Turkish authorities had decided “to ban the refueling and maintenance of American-made aircraft from Russia and Belarus.”
The article said that refueling and other services were banned for private, cargo, commercial and charter aircraft containing more than 25% components from the United States.
