Survived with scratches: a cougar in the USA attacked a man while he was relaxing in a hot tub

Wildlife officials set traps for the predator, but were unable to find any footprints in the frozen snow. It was noted that the search for the dangerous animal continues.

In the US state of Colorado, the search continues for a cougar who attacked a man and bit him on the head while he was in a hot tub with his wife. Reported by Sky News.

The attack took place in a forested area in the town of Natrop on the evening of March 18. A married couple were vacationing in a rented house when his wife was attacked by a cougar, also known as a cougar or mountain lion. The man didn’t realize what was happening at first, but then he saw a predator and started screaming and splashing water on him. His wife pointed her flashlight at the cougar, and the cougar finally decided to retreat to the top of the hill.

The Predator continued to watch the couple from their new perspective. The man and woman were able to return home and clean the man’s wounds (four scratches on the top of his head and near his right ear), then called the owner of the estate, who works for the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Service.

Wildlife officials set traps for the cougar, but were unable to find any footprints in the frozen snow. It was noted that the search for the dangerous animal continues.

Saturday’s incident was the first recorded mountain lion attack on a human in Colorado since February 2022. At least 27 people have been injured by mountain lion attacks in this state since 1990, three of them fatal.

Previously Focus He wrote that in South Africa the couple had an accident, but the nightmare did not end there: hungry lions were waiting for them. Mario Titus had an accident on his way from home to the hospital with his wife, Grace. The man wanted to walk to the hospital for help, but a few minutes before the accident his wife noticed a pack of lions on the road and they had no choice but to wait in the car.

It was also reported that ketchup saved the life of a sailor who spent a month on the high seas. Elvis Francois, a resident of the island of Sint Maarten, was swept into the Caribbean Sea while repairing his sailboat. It was saved thanks to the #FindtheKetchupBoatGuy rescue campaign, which reached nearly 5 million social media users and garnered more than 4,000 likes.
