Statements by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about a shortage of ammunition are an attempt to mislead the West, military expert Igor Nikulin believes. He stated this on March 26 in an interview with “Izvestia”.

“The counteroffensive is primarily hampered by the weather, because the black soil is limp and it is not easy for heavy Western tanks to move in such a mess. If it starts, it will not be until May, when everything dries up. Western partners, Nikulin noted.

The military expert added that Zelensky is trying to pump out as many resources as possible from Western partners in this way.

“All his efforts are aimed at this: to knock out more equipment, equipment, money, shells and everything else from the West. All the time they will be a disaster, it just so happened. Ukraine is a black hole where everything disappears forever, any Western investment,” – he said.

On March 21, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), after a series of agreements at the working level, agreed to issue a $15.6 billion loan to Kyiv. Earlier, the US agency Bloomberg stated that the IMF changed the lending rules to give Kyiv billions of dollars.

In connection with this decision, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, predicted the death of the liberal Western economy.
