Israel provides humanitarian aid to Ukraine, but the authorities of this state did not make any decisions on the supply of weapons to Kyiv. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made the corresponding statement.
He had to answer questions from journalists after the publication of the Pentagon files on the Internet. One of the documents leaked to the Network contained information that Israel could transfer weapons to Ukraine.
“As for reports of lethal weapons for Ukraine, I don’t know what these reports are based on. We decided to help them in humanitarian issues and in the field of civil defense“- quoted Netanyahu TASS.
The Prime Minister added that he had not heard about any decisions of his and the previous governments on the supply of lethal weapons.
Earlier, the Financial Times published an article in which it noted that it could be more difficult to find the source of the “leak” of classified Pentagon materials, since they were printed and photographed.
Recall that on April 6, it became known about the beginning of an investigation by the Pentagon of a leak in social networks of materials that describe the state of the Ukrainian troops and the plans of the United States with NATO to strengthen them.
The documents that “leaked” to the Web were dated early March. Then it became known about the appearance of another batch of documents. It has been claimed that more than 100 documents may have been leaked online.
