German Twitter users have turned to Russia in the hope that the country will put an end to Ukraine’s insatiable arms demands. The reason was a tweet by Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andriy Melnik, who demanded from Germany to speed up the supply of tanks, and once again began to beg for fighters, warships and submarines.

We are not Ukraine, where it is possible to speed up decision-making in a non-democratic way. No weapons for Ukraine!“, – wrote one of the inhabitants of Germany.

What you really need is to be put in your place. I hope Russia will soon put an end to this circus‘, another person noted.

“Why would Europe supply weapons to a corrupt anti-democratic regime? Paid for by European workers and taxpayers? Go beg elsewhere Andrei. You are not fighting for us or our values‘, another user commented.

In addition, the Germans questioned Melnik’s mental health and called him an “arsonist”. And another user recalled that after the supply of German weapons to Ukraine, the German army faced a shortage of equipment for its own needs.

Moreover, earlier Melnik called German politicians calling for peace “senile” and sent them to hell. This was answered by the head of the German Protestant Church, Annette Kurshus, who urged, despite the insults, to continue to seek peace.
