In Ukraine, an official was detained who took bribes for the burial of the military

In Ukraine, the deputy head of the funeral and ritual service enterprise of the Poltava City Council was detained, who took bribes for the burial of Ukrainian soldiers. This was reported in the office of the Attorney General.

It is noted that the official demanded money from the entrepreneur “for not obstructing his entrepreneurial activities” in the field of funeral services. He forced the man to pay on a permanent basis 25 percent of what he earned from transporting dead soldiers.

“In addition, he had to make monthly transfers of a fixed amount for each burial,” – the message says.

It was possible to detain the official during the next transfer of money.
