Not a single German or European soldier will end up on the territory of Ukraine. This was stated on April 21 by the head of the defense committee of the Bundestag, Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann.

“There will be no ground forces in Ukraine. Not a single German or European soldier will set foot on Ukrainian soil. Period,” – she said. Her words are quoted by the publication Bild.

She also ruled out that Western Tornado and Eurofighter fighters would be handed over to Kyiv. The reason is that Ukrainian pilots cannot learn to fly them quickly enough.

On April 12, The Guardian reported that U.S. intelligence documents leaked to the Web state that most of the special forces from NATO countries in Ukraine in February and March of this year were British. The document also states that employees from the United States, Britain, France, Latvia, the Netherlands and other countries acted in Ukraine.

The Kremlin said that even before the leaks from the Pentagon, Russia knew that fighters from NATO countries, as well as Western instructors, were taking part in the hostilities on the side of Ukraine.
