The Ukrainian command is considering three scenarios for a counteroffensive in the Donbass. This was announced on April 24 by retired Australian general Mick Ryan in an interview with the British edition of the Daily Mail.
In the first scenario, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will allegedly carry out one major attack with all the forces and equipment they have. In the second scenario, the troops will be divided into two parts: for a simultaneous strike in the south and east, and in the third case, the Ukrainian army will carry out several uncoordinated attacks.
According to the Daily Mail, if Ukraine fails the counteroffensive, it could lose Western military support.
Earlier, former adviser to President Leonid Kuchma, Oleg Soskin, said that Ukraine does not have sufficient resources for an offensive. According to Soskin, Western weapons are not enough for a full-fledged counterattack.
Russian fighters are also talking about the disruption of the Ukrainian counteroffensive.
Our military stopped the counteroffensive of Ukrainian nationalists in four directions. Also, the “Center” grouping of the RF Armed Forces prevented the counteroffensive of three brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
