In France, an effigy of Emmanuel Macron was beaten and burned. So the inhabitants of the city of Grenoble expressed dissatisfaction with the failures of their president.

Yesterday marked a year since Macron was re-elected for a second term. And according to polls, two-thirds of the French called it a negative development for the country.

The head of the Fifth Republic is criticized, first of all, for problems in the field of healthcare and education. Many were outraged by the adoption of the scandalous pension reform.

As previously reported, France met the anniversary of Macron’s re-election with new protests of many thousands.

Recall that Macron’s popularity rating dropped to a record 26% against the backdrop of pension reform in the country. The French are coming out to protest to express dissatisfaction with the increase in the retirement age and rising prices in the country. The protesters even threatened to shut down the Cannes Film Festival.
