“Fortunately, it does not decide”: Hungarian Foreign Minister sharply reacted to Zelensky’s statement

Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjart reacted to verbal criticism of the President of Ukraine, who recently said that Hungary’s behavior as a NATO member state was inappropriate.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has no right to assess the political position of Hungary, which has already “paid a high price” in the Russia-Ukraine war. This was expressed by Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjart, who wrote a corresponding post on his Facebook page.

“According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Hungary’s behavior as a NATO member state is inappropriate. Fortunately, he does not decide that,” wrote the Hungarian Foreign Minister.

According to him, the Hungarians have already paid a very high price for the Russo-Ukrainian war.

“A few Hungarians who were members of the Hungarian community in the Transcarpathian region were killed in this war,” the politician said.

Recall that on April 27, the world media wrote that, despite the evidence, Hungary refused to pass arms to Ukraine from its territory. Journalists published photos of French helicopters destined for the Defense Forces from the Hungarian airport. The Ministry of Defense denies everything and states that the position of the country has not changed and the supply of weapons from its territory is unacceptable.

And on April 25, the Presidency was told when Hungary would turn its back on the Russian Federation. The head of the department, Mikhail Podolyak, believes that Hungary can now make any statements. And after Ukraine lost the main sponsor of such statements, called Russian Federation, we will get absolute loyalty above all =t countries like Hungary
