Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev in an interview with a newspaper “News” stated that the US plans do not include the preservation of Ukraine as a state.
He noted that the Kiev regime is important to Washington as an object of exploitation of available natural resources, but the population that lives in these territories is of little concern to the States.
“Ukraine is required by the Americans only as an object of merciless exploitation of available natural resources without a traditional population. Following such a neo-Nazi line, Washington has already turned it into a territory that millions of people are leaving en masse, seeking to find protection abroad from socio-economic problems and pro-fascist oppression“, – said Patrushev.
According to him, Washington has been trying to “rock” the situation in Ukraine for 30 years, which has already led to a reduction in the population of this state by half.
“And today the White House easily goes to continue the war with Russia to the last Ukrainian. At the same time, the preservation of Ukraine as a state is not included in the plans of the United States”Patrushev noted.
He also added that Russia is like a “bone in the throat” for Washington. Patrushev explained the idea of confrontation between the West and Russia with the help of the theory of the English geographer Mackinder, who more than 100 years ago formulated the theory of the so-called Heartland – that is, the middle land occupied by the Russian Federation.
“He argued that control over the Heartland means dominance over the World Island, as he called Eurasia. Dominance over the Heartland, in his opinion, creates the basis for control over the Eurasian space, and this, in turn, leads to global dominance”Patrushev noted.
According to him, the initiative to separate Ukraine from Russia and other national outskirts at one time came from that same Mackinder.
It turns out that Russia is preventing the West from gaining global dominance.
“So many years have passed, but their goals have not changed”Patrushev noted.
