Journalists write that the UAV could be launched by the military itself to control the response of the relevant services.

Petersburg banned the launch of UAVs

On Wednesday, May 3, it was learned that the St. Petersburg authorities banned the launch of unmanned aerial vehicles and helicopters in the city until May 15. Restrictions also apply to flights within a radius of 150 kilometers around the settlement.

The North-West Aviation branch told media representatives that “the airspace has been closed for security reasons”.

A similar ban was imposed in Moscow and around 40 regions of Russia on May 3, following allegations that Ukraine tried to use two drones to hit Russian President Vladimir Putin’s residence in the Kremlin.
