Second gun attack in a week: a man in a car shot people in Serbia

A man driving near the town of Mladenvac opened fire on passers-by with automatic weapons and then fled. Police cordoned off the area and brought a plane to look for the perpetrator.

There was a second mass shooting in Serbia last week. A 21-year-old man opened fire at people through his car window after a 13-year-old student killed 9 students and a security guard at a Belgrade primary school. Reported by The Guardian.

According to the publication, at least 8 people were killed and 13 injured as a result of a series of armed attacks south of Belgrade in Serbia. The fighting started in the late evening on Thursday (May 4th) near the town of Mladenvac. The attacker opened fire with automatic weapons from a moving car and then fled. Seven of the injured are in critical condition.

Police determined that the attacker was a 21-year-old male. Security forces cordoned off his presumably hiding area. Helicopters and drones are operating in the enclosed square.

Interior Minister Bratislav Gašić described the attack as an “act of terrorism”.

Recall that on May 3, a teenager opened fire on the Vladislav Rybnikar primary school in Belgrade, Serbia. A 7th grade student under the influence of drugs first shot the teacher who gave him a bad grade, then went out into the hallway and shot the school guard and 8 other children.

An 84-year-old man shot a 16-year-old boy in the USA. The boy wanted to pick up his brothers and sisters, but he didn’t know the address was wrong.
