The State Department decided to hire a specialist who will monitor the development of the Armenian law enforcement system. The corresponding document appeared on May 6.

It is indicated that the employee will need to assess the needs of the Republican police. He will also develop educational institutions for Armenian law enforcement officers and monitor their training.

“Organization and conduct of special trainings for the police, investigators and anti-narcotics specialists of Armenia in consultation with the Director of the Bureau and depending on the needs identified by the Bureau in Armenia, US law enforcement agencies and the government of the host country”– quotes the document RT.

At the same time, the senior strategic adviser will need to promote “the political course and goals of the US government” in Armenia. And in Washington, the specialist will provide his colleagues with an analysis of the development of the Republican law enforcement sector, so that the US authorities can see “progress and problem areas.”

Recall that the American State Department already published a similar vacancy two years ago. Then the department was looking for a specialist to promote the development of Armenian law enforcement agencies.
