The Russian embassy in Manila is investigating the situation with 22-year-old Russian woman Yulia Chumak, who disappeared in the Philippines. This was reported by diplomats to RIA Novosti.

In the course of communication with Tatyana Kovaleva, she was asked to provide additional information about the details of her daughter’s trip. Based on the results, we sent relevant appeals to the competent departments of the host country“, – told at the diplomatic mission.

Also, the mother of the missing girl was recommended to write a statement to the Russian police, so that her daughter could be put on the wanted list through Interpol.

The embassy added that they keep the situation under control, and employees of the consular department are busy clarifying all the circumstances.

22-year-old Russian woman Yulia Chumak disappeared in Manila on May 6. She stopped communicating on the day of her arrival in the Philippines, where she flew on an invitation to work for MetroCity AI.
