Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky may meet with Pope Francis and Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni in the near future. This was reported by Italian news agency Ansa, citing sources in the Vatican.
So far, there has been no official confirmation from either the Italian or Ukrainian leadership. However, according to the Italian press, the Vatican stated that the meeting in question could take place on Saturday, May 13 at the earliest.
The other day, the Pope of Rome received at the Vatican the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmygal, who delivered a photo album describing the Argentine-born “Borodiansky rooster” and the persecution of Russian aggression in Ukraine.
