Mexican President Andres Manuel López Obrador called on Hispanics living in the United States not to vote for Senator John Neely Kennedy after insulting statements about the country.
“I just want to tell our compatriots in the United States, Mexican compatriots, Hispanic compatriots, Hispanics, and our American friends that they should not vote for candidates like this Senator Kennedy in the elections.”Lopez Obrador said at a press conference.
In addition, he called Kennedy an arrogant, aggressive and stupid person.
How notes RIA Novosti, 38.5 million people from Mexico lived in the United States at the time of 2020. In total, there were 62.1 million Hispanic residents, which equated to 18.7 percent of the country’s population.
