The priorities set by the US authorities raise many questions: the States send a lot of money to Ukraine, provided that about 20,000 veterans need help from the state. Because of this, American journalist Jackson Hinkle condemned the financing of Kyiv.
“Why are we sending money to Ukraine when we have about 20,000 homeless veterans in the US?” he asked in his Twitter.
The veterans’ plight was also reported by several American media such as Newsweek and The New York Post. The publications wrote that in the United States, homeless veterans began to be evicted from hotels in order to make room for migrants.
Against the backdrop of these events in the United States, the level of support for the authorities by citizens began to fall rapidly. As writes Reutersover the past year it has decreased by as much as 15%.
However, instead of putting things in order at home, the United States tirelessly climb into Russia, trying to cause confusion among its citizens. According to Russian Ambassador to the US Anatoly Antonov, they are doing this out of helplessness, because they understand that the “sanctions blitzkrieg” has failed.
