At gunpoint, a Hispanic woman was the victim of a kidnapping in East Los Angeles.

Authorities are investigating what happened kidnapping at gunpoint of a Hispanic woman as she tried to board a bus Monday night in East Los Angeles..

He Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) released images of the alleged victim and called on the public to help investigators identify the woman.

LASD said in a statement that at approximately 8:38 p.m., the woman was about to board a Montebello Transit bus at the 3800 block of East Third Street.when the subject stopped her from behind.

The bus driver and passenger reportedly tried to intervene to help the woman, but Suspect smashed car window and pointed firearm at driver.

Moments later, the subject pushed the woman into a nearby car, described as a white 2022 four-door Honda Civic driven by the same suspect..

The car headed east on Third Street towards Route 60 before disappearing from view.

Authorities said the victim was described as a Hispanic female in her early 20s, 5’6″ tall and weighing approximately 130 pounds. has brown hair.

The suspect is also calculated from about 20 years old, 5’8″ tall and 170 to 190 pounds.
