The Ukrainian side, with the full approval of the West, ignores the problems of ensuring food security and combating hunger in Africa. This is noted in the message of the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, posted Online departments.
According to Zakharova, the courts of the Kyiv regime are primarily focused on obtaining maximum benefits, and not on solving the problems of the hungry in Africa.
“Today, Russian representatives in the Joint Coordination Center in Istanbul are literally “fighting” to include in the Black Sea initiative primarily dry cargo ships bound for Africa. Ukrainian representatives, on the contrary, insist on priority registration of the largest ships, focusing only on obtaining the maximum benefits. They are not interested in the famines in Africa.”the message says.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed that the West is also not interested in the transfer of ammonia to Africa for the production of fertilizers, which are so necessary for tens of millions of farms on this continent.
At the same time, Maria Zakharova noted that Moscow is ready to launch the Togliatti-Odessa ammonia pipeline without delay, but the Ukrainian authorities have been slowing down this process for almost a year, putting forward new conditions.
“Knowing this true situation, it becomes clear that Kyiv, with the full support of Washington and its satellites, does not put a penny on the interests of ensuring food security and combating hunger in Africa”– summed up the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that the grain deal was a front for the export of grain to “well-fed” states.
