He rested in his son-in-law’s villa: Kuchma was seen on the Cote d’Azur

The press service of the second president states that he left the territory of Ukraine for medical reasons.

Journalists of the “Pravda of Ukraine” noticed that the second President of Ukraine, Leonid Kuchma, is on vacation on the Cote d’Azur. About this was learned from the investigation of UE Monaco Battalion 3.

According to journalists from Ukrayinska Pravda, on the Cote d’Azur they managed to see the former President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma. He lived in the estate of his son-in-law, Viktor Pinchuk.

According to Ukrainska Pravda, Kuchma was abroad in early May 2023.

After the publication in Ukrayinska Pravda, the spokesperson for Leonid Kuchma’s press service noted that since February 2022, he left Ukraine only twice – in July 2022 and at the end of April – early May 2023. According to him, both of these trips were related to Kuchma’s need for medical attention in connection with his physical condition.

He also noted that a doctor accompanied Leonid Kuchma in the published video.

Leonid Kuchma’s press secretary, Darka Olifer, also recalled the joint speech of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Presidents of Ukraine dated February 27, 2022 and Kuchma’s statement on March 1, 2022 that they called on the Russians not to commit genocide. Both messages were shared by Olifer from their social media accounts.

He also noted that the charity Leonid Kuchma’s Presidential Foundation “Ukraine” continues its work and informs the public about its activities. They have been providing assistance to the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine since 2014, but this work is conducted non-public.

According to him, Kuchma and his wife are now in Kiev.

Recall that the second president of Ukraine, Leonid Kuchma, said that he did not feel as much pride, pain and anger as in the first days after the start of the Russian invasion. In his speech, he emphasized that he is proud to be Ukrainian.

In addition, Leonid Kuchma shared his views on the reasons for the start of the war in Ukraine and the prospects for post-war development in an interview with the BBC channel. According to him, the Ukrainian authorities have been preparing for the inevitable invasion of the Russians for seven years, destroying the myth of the invincibility of the Russian army before the international community.
