“Meat grinders”, missing tourists and ominous relics: shark attacks have become more frequent in Egypt (photo, video)

Rescuers placed gnawed human remains in a body bag, forbidding tourists from filming the horrific scene. The cops rushed around and demanded that the records be deleted.

Shark attack on a Russian in Hurghada, Egypt, called a “meat grinder”, a 23-year-old man died in just 20 seconds. Shocked, his father heard his son’s cries for help from the shore. Reported by The Mirror.

After some time, the locals caught a huge tiger shark and decided that it was this predator who attacked the native of the Russian Federation, who had moved to Egypt with his father a few months ago.

This event occurred in an area where shark attacks were previously thought to be rare, but few such incidents have occurred in the past few years.

Two tourists from Austria and Romania died last year. Elizabeth Sawyer, 68, died of shock in an ambulance after losing an arm and a leg in the popular Sahl Hasheesh Bay near Hurghada.

In the released footage, he rowed helplessly ashore. A large crowd watched the performance, but no one dared to help the woman.

Two days ago, a tourist from Romania disappeared from a local five-star hotel. Later, his disfigured body washed up on the coral shore.

Tourists said they even forbade filming a gruesome scene when rescuers put gnawed human remains in a body bag. The cops rushed around and demanded that the records be deleted.

“Half the body was missing,” said an eyewitness.

In 2018, a 41-year-old man from the Czech Republic was attacked by a shark in the Red Sea off Egypt. His remains were found on the beach near Marsa Alam.

In 2015, a 52-year-old German tourist died in the resort town of Al Quseir from a shark that bit his leg up to the knee.

Recall that during the last attack, which killed 23-year-old Vladimir Popov, a native of Arkhangelsk, another girl managed to escape and land. Police have banned access to beaches as shark fins have been seen elsewhere.

It was also reported that 24 killer whales held a “family” gathering off the coast of California to hunt sea lions and gray whale calves.
