Poland wants to join the NATO nuclear deterrence program Nuclear Sharing. This was stated by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

Due to the fact that Russia intends to deploy tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus, we ask the entire NATO bloc to take part in the Nuclear Sharing program“, he said at a press conference in Brussels.

According to Morawiecki, nuclear weapons should appear in Poland as soon as possible. He noted that it depends on the decision of the US and other NATO partners. As a result, the Prime Minister of Poland stressed that the country wants quick action.

On June 9, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the deployment of Russian nuclear weapons in Belarus would begin in early July, immediately after the preparation of facilities for it was completed. The President noted that everything is going according to the plans.
