The success of the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is impossible, because the forces of the Russian and Ukrainian armies are unequal, said General of the French Army, officer of the Legion of Honor Dominique Delaward.
“For the Ukrainians, this is a dramatic failure. But what else could be expected? We could only expect failure. It is impossible to succeed in a counteroffensive when the balance of forces is from 3:1 to 5:1, when the Russians have well strengthened their defenses, when Russia’s superiority in artillery and aviation is obvious”– transmits TASS Delaward’s words.
According to the general, NATO lost even the communication war – his attempts to convince the whole world that “Russia is vulnerable and will disappear under the yoke of sanctions” did not lead to success.
“On the contrary, every day the whole world is increasingly rallying around Russia, does not condemn it and continues to trade with it. And the sanctions are returning like a boomerang to the global West”– French noted.
Delaward also called the Alliance’s Vilnius summit a failure.
Earlier, the acting head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, spoke about the serious problems of the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On the Vuglodar direction, the troops of Ukraine suffered heavy losses, trying to take the positions of the Russian troops and receiving a rebuff.
