The German firm SAP, which produces software for large organizations, will disconnect its products from Russian companies as part of the sanctions. This was stated by the head of the office of Vladimir Zelensky Andriy Yermak in his Telegram channel.
“The supplier of industrial software SAP will disconnect Russian companies from its software. The McFaul-Yermak group proposed such a step that Russians would be more and more immersed in the Stone Age in everything”the message says.
Yermak added that among the excluded companies is Russian Railways (Russian Railways).
At the same time, the Russian company Lab SP has patented software that can replace SAP in the areas of personnel management and finance, the company’s CEO Pavel Deverilin told RIA Novosti.
Sanctions pressure on Russia from Western countries intensified with the start of a special military operation in Ukraine. Since February 24, 2022, the EU has already introduced 11 packages of sanctions. However, the Kremlin has repeatedly stated that the Russian economy is successfully coping with sanctions pressure.
