Liz Truss will write a book about her 49 days as British Prime Minister. The Guardian reports this.
The book will be called “Ten Years to Save the West.” Truss said she wanted to share lessons from her experiences in government and at international meetings, where she was often “the lone conservative.”
“We have serious choices to make if we are to avoid the controlled decline of the Western construct that represents global generational attitudes and prosperity“, the newspaper quotes Liz Truss as saying. The Guardian.
The author notes that Britain has low growth rates and very high taxes, and the government spends too much money.
Liz Truss said that some of her miscalculations led to her resignation as prime minister. However, the main problem, in her opinion, is the lack of support for conservative ideas.
She plans to write the book completely on her own and publish it next year.
Let us remind you that on October 20, 2022, after 44 days of a failed premiership, Liz Truss announced her resignation. Her tenure as prime minister was the shortest in British history.
